Import Multiple Products

Purpose: 

The purpose of this walkthrough is to help you set up multiple products on our CRM.

 

Pre Requisites:

  • Products

  • Shop page 

 

Introduction & Previous Concepts

Procedure

  • You need to select products from your menu screen

  • If you don't have any products yet you will have an empty screen with a big button to add products

  • If you have products already you need to do it using the button at the top of the products index screen

  • Next, you need to upload a CSV file with the information, to get an example of the structure of the file you can download it from the link at the bottom

  • The next step is to drop the file on the Drag area or you can click the choose file button

  • Next you will enter to the mapping section, if you file does not contains on the first row names of the fields in each column, you need to uncheck the first option, if not, the importer will skip the first row of data

  • Then be sure that the name of the columns are mapped correctly the the name of the field, the system will automatically preselected the column if it contains the correct name of the field

 

  • If your file contains images be sure to check the permissions for the rights to use the images, if you dont have the permisions you will need to unselect the field for the images.

 

  • After checking that all the data is correct, you can press continue

  • If your products have variations you will need to select yes

 

  • The next screen it will show you the summary of all the products to be uploaded to the system, check all the info and the number of products to be uploaded

 

  • After clicking Save and if everything goes correctly you will have a Toastr Notification about your file is being upload

 

  • Depending of the size of your upload this can take several minutes, and you will receive a notification for each batch of 50 products uploaded to the application.

 

  • After receiving this notification you just need to refresh your browser or click the products menu to refresh the list of products

 

Best Result

You will have a list of new products ready to use on the application.

Worst Result

The application will throw an Error and you will need to check if the data is not corrupted.
