User notifications

The system notifies users when certain situations happen, such as:

  • A report has been generated.

  • An error has occurred pushing data to an integration (Midigador, Shipstation, TaxJar, OrderDesk, Ultracart).

  • Call transcription is ready (Twilio).

You can see these notifications by clicking on the admin's bell icon in the top right. The red number over the button means the total of unread notifications.

 

Now this view has some interesting behaviors. Let’s explain them.

 

Filter notifications: You can filter the notifications present in the view. By default, you will be watching only the Unread ones.

Also, you can select to view only the Read/Unread or Only read.

Clear all: It will clear all the notifications matching the current filter selected. When a notification is cleared, it will not be visible anymore and will be marked as read, so your counter of unread notifications will be decreased.

Read all: It will mark as read all the notifications matching the current filter selected. When a notification is read, it will still be visible if your filter is Read/Unread or Only Unread. Also, your counter of unread notifications will be decreased.

Clear notification: I will clear the selected notification only.

 

Mark as read: I will read the selected notification only.

 

Open more details of notification: Some notifications have a blue text below the notification title; this indicates you can click it and open a view to see more details or where it happened.
